TableTactics Itch Update9


Mostly QOL(quality of life) changes this week. Major bugfixes such as camera shake being fixed, and map boundaries finally being implemented! See the above image for the map boundary hitboxes! Any unit that is off the board will be instantly killed!

-Fixed a bug where enemies were unable to detect assassins if they were the only one on the board, leading to an early defeat message. Now you can play “assassins only” again 😀

-Adjusted the bear units damage calculation on his basic attack, delaying when the damage occurs until later on when the animation for the second punch is finished. This feels and looks much more realistic, so the bear's movement isn't as snappy and unrealistic in fights

-Made the aforementioned change to the assassin unit as well. The basic attack now calculates damage in two hits rather than one, matching with the animation of striking the enemy twice. The assassin unit special is also now split into three parts to match the audio

-Basically many more damage sources are no longer front loaded and are more balanced. These units also don’t continue their attacks after death now

Merry chrysler! This is TableTactics' second Christmas!

-Fixed a bug where the camera shake for the bear special would last waaay too long

-FINALLY fixed the bug where if you were rotating the camera while a shake was occurring, it would break the camera’s axis of rotation.

-Changed the bears basic attack damage to be split in half for each punch and timed correctly for each punch

-Fixed a bug where camera controls such as switching angles and resetting the camera were disabled on the tutorial level

-Nerfed the mage unit. Max mana is now halved, so they will only cast their special after every 2 attacks

-FINALLY fixed a lingering bug where the third relic choice wouldn’t show up after the player had hit level 11 or above due to missing code. 👏

-Zones now properly affect mage units and stop dealing damage or applying buffs when the round has ended (to any unit)

-Units that are knocked off the map now instantly die.(needs some tweaking) See the pic attached to this post for the map boundary hitboxes!

-Fixed defiant valor relic not properly buffing player warrior units

-Fixed rapid precision relic not properly buffing enemy rabbit units

-Fixed the bug where relics were applied to Wave Survival mode, so now wave survival is back up again and working as intended! Happy hunting!


To Do's:

-Add a "pack-bonus" to the enemy slime units

-Adding one last section to the game (new map, 1 new character that is a tank unit)
