Playtest v3


Small updates this patch to UI, game balance, and more:

  • Tripled the camera's zoom speed
  • Added stamina system, with a lockout if the player reaches 0 stamina (a few seconds)
  • Stamina is used when: gliding or dodging
  • Moved the health bar bar of the player to the corner of the screen to declutter the view
  • Moved the player stamina bar to the corner of the screen with the health bar
  • Added an appropriate wait time after the wolf boss charge attack
  • Fixed a bug with wolf boss where he would run into the air if the player was in the air at the time he started his charge
  • Added special attack cooldown indicator to the UI and increased special attack cooldown for better game balance
  • Fix a CRITICAL run->attack bug with the Greatsword where the player could both basic attack + run attack at the same time, causing the player to slide and attack at the same time, and for particles to play for the running attack while the basic attack animation was occuring
  • Players must now be running for a minimum of 1.5s to perform a running attack
  • Fixed critical bug where attack always continues to 2nd attack no matter what

What I'm working on:

- Adding strafing to enemies

- Smoothing animations between running, dodging, and attacking

- Bug fixes
